COOKING CLASSES AND WINE LESSONS
ICIF provides an opportunity to food lovers, gourmets and all those who want to learn or improve their culinary skills, to choose from the various cookery, bakery and pastry classes which are included in the Culinary Courses for foreign students. These classes are a different and fun way of challenging oneself, whilst learning some of the secrets of Italian regional cooking, of traditional food or modern-creative preparations, in the company of the ICIF chef instructors and young professional cooks from around the world. Each participant will have their own individual work station, equipment and all the ingredients necessary to prepare all the recipes chosen by the ICIF instructor chefs.
For wine enthusiasts we offer detailed insights into the world of oenology, with lessons on the techniques of wine tasting and food and wine pairing, with three different programmes to choose from. Participants will attend the lessons by joining the classes of the foreign students already in attendance and be guided through the smell and taste sensations of the wine by the ICIF sommelier instructor, immersed in the pleasant and evocative atmosphere of the ICIF wine tasting classroom located in the ancient wine cellars of the Castle of Costigliole d’Asti.
ICIF organizes educational culinary tours for Italian and foreign non-professionals who are lovers of Italian food and wine and who want to learn more about the cuisine, the quality products and the cultural beauty of the Italian Regions, or for industry professionals who would like to discover more about the food and wine of a specific Italian region or area. These tours have a minimum duration of three days to a maximum of six. It is possible to organize cultural/culinary tours on specific topics requested by the group, which has to comprise of at least 10 participants.

TRAINING FOR BUSINESS COMPANY
We provide services and offer training and advice to companies, associations and organizations who would benefit from the use of a classroom or a laboratory for events, seminars or conferences. Upon request for small, medium or large groups, our skilled professionals will create training classes specifically devised for corporate team building. A formula in great demand by companies in modern society and used as fun way of testing themselves in the kitchen by developing interpersonal skills and teamwork, through the preparation of several courses of a traditional regional Italian menu.
At ICIF you have the chance to become chefs and sommeliers for a day, developing interpersonal skills, organizational ability and teamwork in the atmosphere of the medieval Castle of Costigliole d’Asti, an unforgettable and unique location for meetings, conferences, cooking courses for enthusiasts, business incentives, wine and olive oil tastings and business events.

ICIF's didactic restaurant opens its doors and those of the institute to all those who like to get closer to the cooker, giving an extra touch to their dishes, to surprise and delight at the table. Our chef instructors will take you on a journey into the gastronomic world to teach you the secrets of the trade and prepare, together with you, delicacies to take home. A carnet of thematic proposals under the banner of seasonality, quality and territoriality awaits you.
The courses will be held at ICIF - Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, in piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, 10 – 14055 a Costigliole d’Asti (AT), in the practical rooms of the Orangerie.
