ICIF, Institute of Cuisine, Culture and Oenology of the Regions of Italy, thanks to a contribution of the European Union that will be paid out by the Regione Piemonte, built a structure in the park of the Castle of Costigliole d’Asti.
In order to respect the surrounding environment the building reproduce the architectural and typological characteristics of orangeries, that represented the functional and decorative elements of conservatories belonging to many historical mansions.
Such architectural concept has determined the typology of the building, that has been fully made in glass and metal. Inside, have been realized the followings laboratories: a restaurant for the students with its own equipped kitchen, a classroom for practical lessons, a classroom for first courses, classrooms for Italian language and theoretical lessons, a sensorial classroom, a classroom for pastry, baking and ice-cream lessons, a large library, beside technical spaces and offices.
